Red vine
The red vine or Vitis vinifera is a woody shrub, sarmenty, climbing and equipped with spins. Part of the Vitaceae family, this plant is native to Asia Minor. It has been cultivated throughout the Mediterranean since the 8th century and is now widespread in many parts of the world. The red vine, with black grapes and red pulp, generally has palmatilobed leaves. Those of the tinctoria species are of great phytotherapeutic interest. The red vine gives small greenish flowers arranged in clusters. Its fruits are grapes, small juicy pulp berries, also arranged in clusters and containing 2 to 4 pyriform seeds.
